The Slovak Cultural Week is organised by the Slovak Centre – Ireland, which is officially recognised and registered non-profit, politically independent, community organisation established in February 2007 by a group of Slovak volunteers in Ireland.
The focal point of the Slovak Cultural Week is an exhibition of Slovak artists living in Ireland. We are proud to introduce Ms. Lucia BLIZNIAKOVA, Mr. Roman BURGAN and members of fotoclub Irsko.Fotoklub as our exhibiting artists. You will get a chance to see expression of their souls and lives in Ireland. Every evering during the Slovak Cultural Week will be providing genuine experience of true Slovakia and every visitor will get a chance to join us and share with us our piece of Slovakia in Ireland.
In the Slovak Centre – Ireland, we are proud of being able to organise this event, where we can promote Slovakia as a country of our origin and also as an integral part of European Union. Except promoting Slovakia as a country in general we would like to highlight the existence of large Slovak community in Ireland taking into account a fact that Ireland has become a home for more than 25.000 Slovaks.
